The Horse and Jockey is a traditional and popular country pub, with a comfortable bar and restaurant, located in the hamlet of Curbridge and sitting at the upper reaches of the River Hamble, serving excellent ales and fresh home prepared and cooked food. Many customers come up the tidal river in boats for a satisfying pint of Gales HSB, Fullers London Pride, good wines, and an excellent meal before riding the outgoing tide back.

The pub has a large car park, with a riverside garden.

Mike and Fiona are committed to making sure that the Horse and Jockey will remain a traditional pub, with a focus on the customer, increasing its reputation for fine food, cask conditioned ales, beers, wines and spirits.

 There are fewer and fewer traditional pubs these days and the Horse and Jockey at Curbridge is distinctly traditional, comfortable and at the heart of the hamlet.

Horse and Jockey curbridge, has been known as the horse and jockey which is sometimes shortened to the Horse & Jockey, specialising in serving fresh food. The  Horse and Jockey is on the river Cur which is reported as the highest navigable point of the river Hamble. The Horse and Jockey or it shorter form the Horse &amp Jockey caters for different tastes. It's a Traditional Public House in southern Hampshire in a hamlet called  Curbridge,in the district of  Winchester near  Botley.
