to the pub but retaining its charming and cosy feel, especially with its
crackling log fire.
The villagers and other customers returning to the pub are voting positively
with their feet in welcoming Mike and Fiona (see
what our critics say).
From January 2010 the Pub
will be open 'all day' - everyday:-
Monday to Saturday: 11.00 a.m. to
11.00 p.m.
Sunday: Midday to 10.00 p.m.
With Food
Available:-
Lunches: 12.00- 2.30 (plus a bit)
Evenings: 6pm to 9pm Monday to Friday
and all day at the Weekend.
Friday evenings will see live acoustic music starting at the Pub 22nd January @ 8.45pm.

Mike and Fiona, not forgetting 'Dylan', the black Labrador puppy, look forward to welcoming both old and new customers to the Horse & Jockey, a lovely, family run, riverside pub in the hamlet of Curbridge; which has a clear customer focus - families and their dogs welcome.
The Horse and Jockey has long been a favourite riverside pub that is renown for serving excellent food and Mike as the Landlord/Chef is locally known for quality food and will be cooking Lunches and Dinners to order from a small but interesting and continually changing menu of fresh produce with dishes ranging from snacks such as Welsh Rarebit to homemade pies, fish, steaks, your old favourites and Sunday Roasts.
